The Music Ministry will hold Vocal Team auditions Thursday, August 14^th, and Monday, August 18^th; 5-9pm each night.  We are looking for 4 six-member teams (3 regular team members, 3 alternates) who:

• are intensely dedicated to Jesus.
• are gifted vocally.
• can communicate with energy and sincerity with a heart for worship.
• are gifted in leading others in worship.

Each team will consist of 1 soprano w/1 alternate, 1 alto w/1 alternate, and 1 tenor w/1 alternate.  Our format has changed from years past.  Here’s how it will work.

Beginning August 1^st you may call the Creative Arts Department to reserve a 10-minute time slot for either Thursday or Monday night.  We will then send you a packet containing a list of expectations, tips on how to prepare for the audition, and sheet music & CD for two songs.  You will decide which one of the songs you want to audition with.  We do not need to know which song you decide to do until you arrive at the audition.  You will then sing your prepared song in the Main Auditorium with sound system and a live band. This part of the audition will take only a few minutes  When that part of the audition is done you will then move to another area of the church for a short ear-training and sight-singing exercise.
